VE Day 80th Anniversary community street party

We’re so proud to partner with Durham Markets Company to bring you a community street party to remember to celebrate the VE Day 80th anniversary.

On Bank Holiday Monday, the 5th of May, Durham Market Place will be transported back to the 1940s, with living history displays, live music, memorabilia stalls, and food and drink.

In true community spirit style, there will be tables and chairs in the Market Place where you can join us for afternoon teas, served by the lovely ladies from Cafe Cenno.

There will be so much to see and do; it will be a great day out for the whole family.

To make it the best day it could possibly be, we need your help!
